So I’ve finally added my logo to this blog. I’m considering this site layout to be a first iteration. The logo was drafted in sketchup (you’ve got to love google) and modified in photoshop. I hope to post my “cockpit”/lan desk plans next, but I suppose that post will have to wait until next year (my current rate of adding new posts).
Welcome to my blog. I’m hoping to use this blog as a tool for sharing general information I’ve found useful over the years. My wife has a more general blog that contains information pertinent to our personal life (see: Amanda’s blog ) but this blog will be fairly technical. As the blog title suggests, I was trained as a engineer but I’ve also completed a computer/information science degree and a medical degree (expected in 2010). In short, I’m over-educated, but my varied education does reflect my eclectic interests, so I suppose my training makes sense. I hope you find the documentation of my endeavors interesting.
